Nevertheless

Happy #faithfilledfriday 🤎

And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.

‭‭—Mark‬ ‭14:36‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I would like to revisit strength and courage with a part ll I’ve started.

There is great strength in siding with the One who can control the seas and storms.

But what do I mean by siding?

Listening to God over gods.

Knowing God from gods.

Believing God rather than gods.

It takes courage to sacrifice, submit, be sanctified and set apart, to answer the call, to walk in purpose, to seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, to war in the flesh, to stand and not waiver at the gusts of the winds and woos (things that entice us) of life as human beings.

It takes strength to trust God in ALL things, to journey towards the uncomfortable, and to approach uncertainties with faith in the One upon which you rely and not just in your gifts, or work, or talents—takes steadfast strength in our Savior. That God will redeem, reward, and renew us no matter the season or suffering. That God will be our safety net and secure anchor as we ride the waves of the ocean. All in all, it takes strength and courage to carry purpose guided and gifted by someone GREATER, actually the GREATEST. And that TRUTH should give us great JOY because of the hope, power, and omnipresence of the One in control of everything.

There is so much we can do with God; the possibilities can only be imagined until they’re fulfilled, and yet they are still endless. What God has predestined and purposed are just pieces of the promise puzzle we experience as we journey various pathways. It is my hope that you hold the hand of our Father and find strength and courage in being dependent upon the ultimate Champion, while trusting God’s will for our lives over trying to understand it all. May we cast our cares and live freely in the fulfillment God has always wanted for us, as His children. You are more than a conqueror, always.

God’s peace, love, & blessings

Jess
