Burdened with Battles

Happy #faithfilledfriday đź’“

1 Tim 6:12

We cannot always choose our battles, but we can choose what we will believe—about God, about our circumstance, and about our ability to endure physically and emotionally until whatever tangible promise manifests. But God has been reminding me of the promises He keeps daily. God’s love we cannot fathom but we feel—beyond reason, God’s strength for the journey—it’s mountains and valleys, God’s grace in the mayhem and mistakes—relaying His good news as our spirit speaks of God’s sustenance, and God’s power that sustains us—through the pain of disappointment or loss and yet, that same power propels us in purpose.

Our steps don’t have to be perfect,  just steadfast. The storm doesn’t have to be silent for us to sleep well when we are secured by a sovereign Savior. A miracle shouldn’t have to manifest for us to know God cares about us in and beyond our circumstances. When we can’t “figure it out” or “explain” situations or tribulations, remember that we don’t have to comprehend or understand. We can just put on our armor and acknowledge God in all His ways and trust Him to direct our path for good.

That’s one thing your adversary would love, for you to doubt God and disconnect your branches from God’s vines. To discourage you from using your divine tools that shield you from fiery darts and serve as a protective “suits” through the fires, waters, and wilderness seasons of life.

Everyday, God is available. To continue to see God in our situations, we must have spiritual eyes and we must continue to believe despite our burdens or the weight of our suffering.  I was able to hold my head high when my heart was heavy because of the Spirit of God and it’s power. I was able to say God is still GREATER, God is still GOOD, and God still deserves GLORY because of the HOPE in the One upon who I rely. I cannot tell you “how” you’ll get through “it”; just about the HOPE that helped me through “the worst” and shined brightest in the “darkness.” Continue to hold on to your hope in God.

Much love, peace, and joy in your journey
