Purpose Prevails.

Happy Resurrection Sunday đź’“
Today I want to talk about God’s will concerning all of His creation. We’ve all been chosen by God for His purposes to prevail as they speak of God’s sovereignty, miraculous nature, and divine power. God doesn’t just rule and reign, He also empowers us through His Spirit and good and perfect gifts to triumph and tarry, as we navigate the trails of life.
As I read about Zechariah and Elizabeth, John the Baptist, and Mary’s encounter with Gabriel about Jesus, I see how nothing is by chance—everything is within the sovereignty and control of God. The answered prayers of faithful elders, the birth of God’s purpose even in the womb, and the assurance of salvation for those who ask and accept is accomplished through God’s predestined will for our lives.
The purpose of the times and seasons under the sun are orchestrated to display the grace, power, existence, glory and love of God—not that life would be perfect but that God would perfect EVERYTHING concerning us now, in due season, or in the life to come.
Everything we consider or count as a loss, every uncertainty, every betrayal + tragedy that changed or challenged our hearts and perspectives of church, triumph, good, and even God + His sovereignty, all have purpose. Just as the miracles, lives and events that have or will impact and ignite the purposes placed in us—some in the womb and some being the aforementioned that did the pressing and crushing. Your purpose through God’s spirit and power, has the potential to influence minds and prepare hearts to draw near(er) to God—we have the privilege to be who God called us to be and walk in His will—advancing God’s kingdom and causes through living authentically in purpose, which plants and waters seeds that God continues to grow until the coming day.
So many things God has willed to be birthed through us while giving life to us in the process, even if pain is part of that process. What Christ did on Calvary speaks to the immeasurable length God will go to, in order to ensure that what He has created, serves its purpose for His glory and our sanctification and salvation; giving life abundantly now and in the life to come. Thankful that as Christ has risen, we too can and will rise for God’s purpose to prevail, experiencing in-part His glory and blessing while looking forward to rising in the life to come.
grateful. thankful. blessed. chosen.
Hope you know that you are purpose filled and purposeful, well beyond your scope. Shine your light.
