Choose Confidence.

Happy #faithfilledfriday đźŚ»

But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.

‭‭—Jeremiah‬ ‭17:7‬ ‭NIV

I would be a liar if I said I never worry because the truth is that I do. But whenever I do find myself worrying, it’s normally because my focus or my perspective is on something or in something that can fail. And by fail, I mean not guaranteed or beyond my “control”. So, I worry when my confidence is in what I can or cannot do rather than who I am by design (cause God created me + has given me purpose for His glory). But God doesn’t desire for me or any of us to live a life of worry but of joy and confidence in Him.

•

When I place my confidence in God, I don’t always know the outcome but I can trust on God’s faithfulness. I don’t always know when a way will be made or how a way will be made, but I know God is able to make a way. I don’t always understand the ending of a thing or the beginning of a thing, but I know who has the power to open and close doors. I don’t always know the whys of life or the purpose of moments + events (especially those that shake the foundation of our faith or understanding of who God is), but I do know that the purpose of the Lord will prevail, along with the working together of His plan for our good.

Today, I’m just really here to remind you that you don’t have to worry when it comes to God, when it comes to His plan and purpose, when it comes to His grace and mercy, when it comes to your worth and His love, when it comes to the “impossible”.....YOU. DON’T. HAVE. TO. WORRY. So don’t.❤️
