Always a Season

Today, I want to share a verse that I’m standing on. What scripture, promise, quote or truth is reminding you to keep believing, keep trusting, and keep standing?? Share your inspiration in the comments in hopes of encouraging one another.

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

—Ecclesiastes 3:1 ESV

Everything, not just some things. Every matter, not just the ones deemed “important.” This scripture helps me not to get anxious and over analytical when I don’t know the timing or outcome of dreams and dilemmas. This scripture reminds me that a season is not just about the time but also about the state of my being during my circumstances and situations I’m experiencing (first or second hand). This scripture encourages me to rest in assurance when I don’t understand the purpose of or the point in every matter. The narrative of my calling and purpose was written long before my existence, by the most Perfect Author and Finisher.

In the times and seasons, I embrace my humanness and depend on the Spirit; I seek God in His word and through my prayers; I am what I am by God’s grace, and I don’t like to take grace for granted.  I’m glad that by design, the Alpha and Omega not only has a plan with a pardon but also a love more lavish than the ocean, a peace that settles the toughest of battles, and a hope that ignites the sky so brightly. Everything from the beginning to the end (that’s everything in between+), has a purpose and I pray you stay connected to the vine as you navigate the times and seasons of your life.
