Greater Than

“Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”

1 John 4:4 

Today I am so encouraged by this verse. Do you realize how many circumstances, trials, tests, terrible things and evil and crude people are in the world that bring about turmoil, devastation, and heartache?! And yet, the Spirit of God that is in us is GREATER, allowing us to triumph, allowing us to endure, allowing us to persevere, allowing us to live in spite of the reality of life in this world. GOD IS AMAZING giving us the grace and love needed to seek Him and pursue the calling and purposes set in us long before our birth. So today I just want to remind you that God can keep you, God will protect you, and God will fulfill your needs—even in the midst of what is in the world testing your faith, testing your patience, and testing your resilience—remember that your Helper, your Advocate, God’s Spirit in you, is GREATER.

Keep PRAYING.

Keep DRAWING NEAR TO GOD.

&

Keep even that MUSTARD SEED OF FAITH.
