Reflection of Christ
“Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.”
—Hebrews 12:3 ESV

For some time, I’ve been considering my responses, attitudes, thoughts, language and parts of myself affected by tests, truths, and tribulations. As much as I am inspired by those who have overcome, I am more in awe of how Christ handled, spoke to, dealt with, and interacted with sinners (me, you, them).
Here, based on Col 1, are some reminders of encouragement for seasons which call you to ENDURE:
Count on God to provide for you when life is unsure—we all need rest and reassurance, both we can find in God.
Don’t stop praying—communication is key, so don’t cut off your Source for exhaustible resources.
The knowledge of God’s will comes from God—keep asking, listening, and seeking.
Wisdom and understanding come from the Spirit—seek with fervency.
God is in control of the increase and the harvest—be diligent with your gift(s), especially when you’re in a season of waiting.
God’s qualification is tied to an inheritance—don’t forget the bigger picture in the midst of the mess and remember that good and perfect gifts are given on THIS side of heaven.
Gratitude is faith in the fire or flood—remember Who is with you ALWAYS and who God says you are.
You were created for MORE than you can imagine or believe—let God do the definitive work.
